Today is a bit of a celebration!
This is my 199th post! 

This has taken me some time to do but I hope
it will be interesting.

in here either out of interest of curiosity but mainly 
because they have one of the instruments I have - or they

Well, that lot should keep you going for quite some time.

As I said, it's not all the posts - there are plenty of others

For the 200th post, which is the next one - I will carry

Peavey Foundation - Roger Glover, Ritchie Blackmore and Deep Purple. . . . . . .

Well, there you have it! 

Roger Glover, in the Perfect Strangers era, weilding
a white Peavey Foundation.

Looks like he "borrowed" Roger's Foundation.

Here are some more shots of the Peavey in action.

I already have two Foundations, a Gold one and a fretless
in a Sunburst but for some time, fancied one like Roger used.

Well, some months ago, I finally got one and have used it
quite a lot. Very nice, indeed!

At this point, I am going to say "bah humbug!"

Having put off doing this one, I finally got some shots of the
beast, on a brand new flash card.
Yep, you've guessed it - will not open!
Not sure what I have done but it just won't have it!

So, determined to put this post up - this is part one and
pics of my white Foundation, are to follow.

I have played this a lot recently - played it at rehearsal 
on Monday.

Speedster Travel Guitar. . . . . .

Been travelin' :)

So, took the Speedster and my new toy - Tascam GB10. 

Now, I know what you must be thinking - "Great shot, Eric"!!!

Errmm, no!!

There was a way better one - all artistic but that seems to have
disappeared/been deleted/not sure what happened.

This is a better shot of the beast.

This fitted inside a suitcase and went in the hold, with no 
trouble at all.
Took it out, plugged it into the Tascam. . . . and away you go.

Great bit of kit - hours of fun - great for when it's raining!!!

It's a clever design, as are a lot of travel guitars and rested
on your knee, very comfortable to play.
I didn't take the upper extension, on this occasion - which
makes it feel more like a traditional guitar but it still felt fine.

Jaydee Twin Neck Goes Home. . . . .

When I did the feature with Lars Mullen, the final lines in the
magazine article described how I was going to finally let the 
Jaydee Geminii Twin Neck go home to it's original owner.

Well, I'm pleased to say that my friend, "Fez", has been at
last, reunited with his creation of a beast of a bass, made
by John Diggins, in the late 70's.

We are planning an "Official Handover", at some point - hopefully
with some good shots of the event. 

There are several posts in the blog, where you can find the story.
In the "search" box, type in "Jaydee Twin Neck Cryer" and there
is plenty to read.

I think it is fair to say that Fez is over the moon!!
