I also had the knobs changed to traditional jazz bass control knobs. Interestingly enough, the third pot is already routed out in the wood on the inside so the luthier I used just had to drill a hole. I love this bass!! The stack knobs are Volume and panning between pick-ups and the other one is Treble and Bass. Hope this helps. : )Flat Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03076286506492272852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-96757650617471220.post-28603105607725276622020-04-21T17:09:32.912-07:002020-04-21T17:09:32.912-07:00Hi,

I can't seem to find a manual anywhere on the web. I'm using mine for recording. I'm primarily a guitar player, but I write and record my own music and needed a decent bass.Pat Waarahttps://patwaaramusic.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-96757650617471220.post-82888226755227721212015-07-06T00:52:20.309-07:002015-07-06T00:52:20.309-07:00Hi. :)

Not really looking for anymore basses, at the moment I am trying to reduce the collection but glad you like yours.
The reason the most bass players wold take a while to get used to yours, is that the scale length is 32" and not 34", which is what most basses are. I'm sure you would get a very good trade for it and get your studio a std scale bass.
Cheers. :)Flat Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03076286506492272852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-96757650617471220.post-13396485845161366022013-03-28T20:09:57.715-07:002013-03-28T20:09:57.715-07:00I have a mexican Stu Hamm Urge 1 bass that I bough...I have a mexican Stu Hamm Urge 1 bass that I bought in a music store in altoona, PA before they went out of business. I'm willing to trade/sell if interest. I'm a sound engineering and on the process of making my own studio. Bought the bass because I needed a good bass guitar to keep at the studio mostly for recording purposes. So, as you can see i'm not either a bass collector or even a bass player. I'm just looking for a good bass that can give me a good sound for recording. Some bass players that used the Stu liked it, but takes them a while to get used to its unique shape and sound. Any thoughts? I think that in the stu's price range, I can find a good 'typical' bass guitar, and gave the Stu to someone who can appreciate it more than I do.
